Since 2006, we have been developing optical sensing technology around a simple idea: meaningful biomarker data should become continuous, accessible and easier to integrate into real life. Building on the experience of EyeSense, a CIBA Vision/ Novartis spin-off, FiberSense combines proprietary optical sensing expertise with long-wear sensor design, reusable electronics and digital connectivity.
Our first regulated application is the CE-marked FiberSense CGM System for continuous glucose monitoring in adults with diabetes. It is also the starting point for our broader vision: Continuous Multi-Analyte Monitoring – CxM.
From CGM to CxM
We believe continuous monitoring will move beyond individual biomarkers toward a richer understanding of human health. FiberSense is starting with glucose, while our technology platform is being developed to support additional analytes including ketones, lactate and cortisol. Our ambition is to extend continuous biomarker data across different settings — from diabetes management to future professional-care, lifestyle and broader health applications.
